Camping Arrighi - Island of Elba

Camping Arrighi offers pitches of various sizes for tents, campers and caravans. There are also apartments and bungalows of different types, from 2 to 5 bed, with private bathroom or with use of the campsite's communal sanitary facilities.

Camping Arrighi is located on the eastern side of the Elba Island, directly on the Barbarossa beach and only 1.5 km from the village of Porto Azzurro.

Camping Arrighi is 15 km from the port of Portoferraio, 12 km from the port of Rio Marina and 18 km from the port of Cavo. From Portoferraio follow the road signs for Porto Azzurro/Rio Marina, drive past the village of Porto Azzurro, turn right at the fork for Spiaggia di Barbarossa. From Cavo/Rio Marina follow the road signs for Porto Azzurro, before arriving in the village turn left at the fork for Spiaggia di Barbarossa.

Camping Arrighi is located directly on Barbarossa Beach and the village of Porto Azzurro is only 1.5 km away. It is possible to reach the centre by car or bicycle along the main road; on foot you can either walk along the panoramic path that starts from Barbarossa beach (Passeggiata Carmignani - about 25 minutes' walk) or take a secondary road that is little travelled by cars (about 15 minutes' walk).

Ferries to the Elba Island leave exclusively from the port of Piombino; the port of call in Elba are Portoferraio (the main one), Rio Marina and Cavo.

Yes, when you book a stay at Camping Arrighi you will receive a discount voucher that you can use to purchase a ferry ticket with the BluNavy, Moby and Toremar companies.

To stay in a bungalow or apartments at Camping Arrighi, the minimum stay varies from 3 to 7 nights, depending on the period.

To get a quote, you need to fill in the form on www.campingarrighi.it, completing the required fields and specifying the type of stay you are interested in. Alternatively, you can send an email to info@campingarrighi.it indicating the period you wish to stay, the type of stay (camping, apartment or bungalow), the number of adults, the age of children (if any) and the presence of pets.

If you have already received a quote from us, you can reply to the e-mail confirming that you want to proceed with the booking. You will be asked to pay a deposit of 30% of the total amount.

To pay the deposit you can either make a transfer to the bank account indicated by Reception or communicate your own credit card number from which Camping Arrighi will take the amount requested.

Payment for the stay can be made in cash, by credit card or by bank transfer. Payment in cash or by credit card must be made at least two days before the end date of the stay; payment by bank transfer can be made before the arrival date or at the latest 5 days before the end date of the stay. In the case of payment by bank transfer, we remind guests to send a copy of the payment to info@campingarrighi.it and to collect the final receipt at Reception. Reception hours for payments are from 9.30 to 12.30 and from 15.00 to 19.30.

Reservation cancellations must be sent to the e-mail address info@campingarrighi.it. If the communication is received within 30 days of the start date of the stay, the deposit will be refunded minus €100.00 for booking fees; if cancellation is received with less than 30 days notice, no amount will be refunded.

If you have booked an apartment or bungalow, check-in is from 16.00 to 20.00 and check-out by 9.00. For pitches check-in is possible from 11.00 to 13.00 and from 15.00 to 20.00; the check-out is by 11.00 of the departure day. It is not possible to check in between 13.00 and 15.00. For arrivals outside these times, please contact Reception in advance.

Even in the case of late arrival or early departure, the total amount must be paid, as stated in the final confirmation email.

The prices indicated on the website are per day and refer to the entire accommodation, including persons, all water, electricity and gas consumption, final cleaning, internet Wi-Fi and parking spot for your car. Bed linen and towels are included in all types of apartments and type A/B/C/F bungalows; for type D/E bungalows they are available on request with extra charge.

The apartments and bungalows (type A/B/C/F) are furnished with linen which is changed weekly. When you check in, you will be given a form, to be returned filled in when you wish to change the linen, and on which you can indicate the number and type of sheets and towels you require. The cleaning staff will then deliver the clean linen and collect the soiled ones.

No, pitches are allocated by the Reception according to availability and the size of the tent, camper van or caravan as communicated by the customer in the booking form. Each guest may communicate any special requirements, which we will try to meet, as far as possible.

When you book a flat or bungalow, a parking space is also included. It is allocated by the Reception in one of the parking areas dedicated and reserved for the type of accommodation booked.

Cars may not be kept on the pitch but must be parked in the parking areas reserved for campsite guests. The daily rate will be charged for each car.

Dogs are welcome at Camping Arrighi, in the apartments, bungalows and restaurant. “Camping dogs" have a free holiday with us, while "4-legged guests" in our apartments or bungalows will be charged € 25.00 per animal on the total amount of the stay. Any damage caused to third parties or to the campsite facilities by animals is the full responsibility of the owner.

Yes, all apartments and bungalows at Camping Arrighi are equipped with air conditioning. We recommend you to use them responsibly and avoid leaving them on during your absence.

For stays in apartments and bungalows it is possible to request the addition of a baby bed (or protective bed rails) and highchair at the time of booking. The service is free of charge but subject to availability.

The Camping Arrighi area borders directly on the beach of Barbarossa, the maximum distance of the pitches from the sea is about 150 metres. The apartments and bungalows are located 150 metres from the beach in a slightly elevated position.

Barbarossa beach is a mostly free beach, with a central equipped area where sunbeds and umbrellas can be hired. The beach is mainly pebble with sandy areas along the shoreline. The sea is clear and transparent, ideal for swimming and snorkeling. There is also a diving centre on the beach.

In the period from 01/05 to 30/09 dogs may not be brought onto the free beach, but access is only permitted on the part of the beach equipped for a fee. In other periods they may remain on the beach, but always on a leash and close to their owner. Dogs are not allowed to bathe; about 2/3 km from our campsite, in Località Terranera and in Località Mola, there are Dog Beaches, where dogs can access and also bathe.

There is no entertainment at Camping Arrighi; our guests are mainly families with children who easily find playmates on the campsite and on the beach. We have a small playground, basketball court, volleyball court, table tennis and bowls. Balls and rackets are available free of charge at Reception.

Yes, it is possible. There are several barbecue areas within the campsite area equipped with a grill, tables and chairs. Alternatively, you can also grill on your own pitch with your own barbecue, taking care not to damage the environment and/or disturb other guests.

Directly on the Barbarossa beach is our bar-restaurant and pizzeria 'Osteria Moresca', which offers typical Elban cuisine at a good price/quality ratio.

Yes, inside the bar-restaurant "Osteria Moresca" there is a minimarket for basic purchases. In Porto Azzurro, which is only 1.5 km away, there are larger supermarkets.

Yes, directly on the Barbarossa beach. Alternatively, there are several banks and a post office in Porto Azzurro.

Yes, there are coin-operated washing machines and tumble dryers in the sanitary facilities of the campsite, flats and bungalows. Tokens can be purchased at the reception during opening hours.
